True story. I remember vividly how excited I was to learn how to prepare a tax return in my 6th grade math class! I know, hard to believe. With so much on our kid’s plate in school, building an understanding of the financial markets has been dropped from school curriculums. I would encourage you to talk to your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews about finance. It is never too early and never too late. Who knows maybe you can ignite a passion like my 6th grade math teacher did in me.
